Exciting and scary things
I won’t have internet access from March 25th to April 1st, in case you’re wondering where I am. I leave for New Orleans in a few hours, where I will meet up with a few of my friends and the larger group of volunteers from UCSB. We’ll be cleaning Katrina-damaged houses during the day and sleeping in a giant warehouse (named “Light City”) at night. I’m not sure whether vegetarian food will be available, and I don’t know what to expect in general.
Yes, this is my idea of a good spring break.
I wish I could bring my camera, but it would probably get lost or stolen. I will draw pictures and write things in my moleskine, and I might tell you about the whole thing when I get back.

Wow, sounds like a worthy thing to do. It's far from what I've heard spring break is about :-) Have a nice time, looking forward to reading about it when you come back.
