into the half-closed

four months ago, my ibook’s screen broke. my beloved little robin.

i’ve missed it all so much: my red-yellow customized icons in the dock, my itunes library with “yellow” played 233 times; my sites folder with a dozen old projects (each with its own icon); my iphoto library - mirrors, lizzy, flowers; a thousand ichat logs; the hog bay notebook filled with urls and ideas and half-formed posts; the meticulous directory of icons; the little blog full of posts nobody sees.

the ibook isn’t doing very well. the screen is dead, the cd-rom drive is gone, the spacebar is broken, and it can’t see its batteries. yeah.

today, mister kyle got me a mini-vga to vga cable. i’m writing this on my imac’s keyboard, looking at my dad’s monitor. but it’s robin.

i missed it a lot.

now i have to figure out the best way to move all the stuff to aquaman, the working imac.

sniffle, i wish i had an ibook to donate to you. :( you could buy my ibook g4 800 so i could upgrade to a 1ghz. ;-)

I am guessing there's not much sympathy there.

haha, thanks...maybe i'll just fix the ibook. it would only be $400 (i think).

use <br /> for line-breaks; no other html.

for everything else, my email address is brittag@gmail.com.
